1 Corinthians 13:4-7 “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” (NLT)
We are still responding to a number of difficult situations in our culture. We have an ongoing battle with the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the financial repercussions due to the pandemic. On top of that we have been struggling with social unrest since the death of George Floyd. While some are not engaging the strife around us, others are trying to find loving solutions to better our current situation. This fall we will be offering small groups, classes, and worship services to help us process loving solutions to the problems in our communities. Together we can make a difference. Join us this fall at CROSSROADS for our “Loving Solutions” worship series.
Loving Solutions for our Vocation - Sept 13th
-We will be discussing loving relationships in terms of our work environment. We will answer the question of how we can live out our calling or vocation.
Church Partnerships - Sept 20th
-As a community we are called to love one another. When we love one another, we commit to one another. Just as a couple in love makes a formal commitment, so when people join a church they commit to love another through service to one another.
Loving Solutions for our Friendships - Sept 27th
-Friends can be great and yet complicated. Sometimes our friends can hurt us the most. Loving one another in spite of our differences challenges us to model love over conflict.
Loving Solutions for our Marriage and Family - Oct. 4th
-Together we will explore how to strengthen those relationships that are closest to us. We will answer the question of how to love one another even in difficult circumstances.
